Karen, formerly known as Karen Lowery, graduated cum laude with a degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She has also been involved with the Philanthropic Educational Organization for nearly thirty years. Kelvin holds his wife in high regard, describing her as a legitimate and demanding person with a kind nature.
