- Action/Comedy: Kingsman: The Secret Service (2014) and its sequel Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017)
- Biographical Dramas: Testament of Youth (2014) as soldier Edward Brittain, Rocketman (2019) as singer Elton John (which earned him a Golden Globe!), and Tetris (2023) as Henk Rogers
- Animated Films: Sing (2016) and Sing 2 (2021) where he voices Johnny the gorilla
- Miniseries: Black Bird (2022) as Jimmy Keene (nominated for an Emmy!)
