In The Lord of the Rings, both Legolas and Galadriel are Elves with long lineages and noble backgrounds. Legolas’s dad, Thranduil, is the King of Mirkwood, and Galadriel is basically Elf royalty herself. This got me thinking – could they be cousins or some other distant relatives?

I haven’t seen anything mentioned in the books about a direct connection, but Tolkien’s world is so vast there could be something I missed. Do any Tolkien experts know if Legolas and Galadriel are related?
