I’ve been a fan of Matt Rife’s comedy for a while now, and his jokes about his family life always crack me up. But one thing I’ve never quite pieced together is who his parents are. I know he has a great relationship with his mom, but I haven’t heard much about his dad.
Does anyone know anything about Matt Rife’s parents? Is his dad in the picture, or was he raised by a single mom? Any details or interesting facts you have would be awesome!

Matt Rife’s mom is April Rife, who has been very supportive of his career. His father, Michael Eric Gutzke, passed away by suicide when Matt was very young. Matt also has a stepfather, Jason Sievers, and considers him a father figure alongside his grandfather.
