His father, Henry, was a boxer himself though didn’t pursue it professionally. He introduced Ryan and his brother to boxing at a young age and became their coach.

Lisa Garcia, Ryan’s mother, has been a constant source of support throughout his career. She currently helps manage his commercial endeavors.
